After a month-long period of fasting, the followers of Islam have started with the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. On the auspicious occasion, the cricket fraternity has taken to their social media to wish people celebrating the festival.

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina wished peace, love and light on the special day. The 35-year-old took to Twitter and wrote: “On the auspicious occasion of Eid, my best wishes to everyone! May this festival bring peace, love & light. #EidMubarak “

Afghanistan star and Gujarat Titans (GT) vice-captain Rashid Khan wished his fans and followers with a heart-warming tweet.

Opening batter KL Rahul, who is currently leading Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing IPL 2022, wrote: “My wishes to all on the occasion of Eid. May the blessings of the almighty be with everyone #EidMubarak.”

Former Indian middle-order specialist Mohammad Kaif reckoned the festival meant togetherness and wished for everyone’s peace.

“Eid-al-Fitr is the festival of togetherness. May Allah bless you and your family with love and peace. #EidMubarak,” tweeted Kaif.

Fast bowler Mohammad Shami prayed for everyone’s health and well-being on the special occasion of Eid.
