The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is starting from March 26, with last year’s finalists Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on each other at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The fifteenth season of the cash-rich league will feature as many as 70 league matches to be played across four grounds in Maharashtra, with the venues for the playoffs are yet to be decided. After a decade, the upcoming season will witness a ten-team event with two new sides, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), ready to join the already established eight franchises.

As the exciting T20 league starts a few days later, let’s have a look at the list of jerseys teams will wear in the upcoming edition:

Mumbai Indians:

Mumbai Indians (MI) have yet again gone with their blue and patches of gold in the new jersey.

Chennai Super Kings:

Delhi Capitals (DC), who will start their IPL 2022 campaign against Mumba Indians (MI) on March 27, have moved on from a mostly blue jersey to an equal dash of red and blue.

The Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have stayed with the shades of red and black in the jersey for the upcoming season.

Gujarat Titans:

Gujarat Titans (GT) have a blue-coloured jersey featuring a distinctive and catchy design. The team will be led by star all-rounder Hardik Pandya in IPL 2022.

Lucknow Super Giants:

Rajasthan Royals (RR) have gone with classic pink colour jersey. It has taken inspiration from Rajasthani design lehraiya, which also shows the wind blowing in the desert.
