India Legends successfully retained the Road Safety World Series title following their 33-run victory against Sri Lanka Legends at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Saturday.
Naman Ojha gained the maximum attention, courtesy of his sensational hundred for India Legends. Ojha smashed an unbeaten knock of 108 runs off 71 balls with the help of 15 fours and two sixes to help his team post 195/6 in their assigned 20 overs.
Ojha reached the triple-figure score on the first ball of the 19th over when he smacked a six to deep square leg region. What followed was his eye-catching celebration as the wicketkeeper-batter bowed down towards the dugout, where captain Sachin Tendulkar was seated alongside other teammates. The batting phenom then came up with a motivational reaction to Naman’s gesture.

Going ahead in the second innings, Sri Lanka Legends never really got the momentum and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Though, Ishan Jayaratne (51) and Mahela Udawatte (26) did raise some hope after Lankans were six down at 85.
The duo added 63 runs for the seventh wicket but couldn’t get going further as the Islanders were eventually bundled out for 162 in 18.5 overs, losing the game by 33 runs.
