Yash Dhull, who led India to title triumph in the recently-concluded ICC Under-19 World Cup, has continued his sublime form with the bat even further. The right-handed batter hit a century for Delhi on his Ranji Trophy debut against Tamil Nadu in Guwahati on Thursday.
In his debut game, Dhull smashed 113 runs off 150 balls with the help of 18 fours.
After Tamil Nadu won the toss and opted to field first, Dhull was asked to open the innings for Delhi. The 19-year-old took just 133 balls to reach the triple-figure.
With this knock, Dhull has now joined an elite list of Indian players who have scored a century on their Ranji Trophy debut. The legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Amol Muzumdar and Rohit Sharma feature on the list.
Dhull will be sharing the dressing room with Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant in the upcoming IPL season as Delhi Capitals (DC) bought him for INR 50 lakh at the mega-auction.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:

Yash #Dhull took four flights from Caribbean to Ahmedabad, back in delhi, had half an hour at home, a felicitation at school and away in the afternoon with Delhi team. Selectors didn’t want him to be benched and only slot was opening. He belongs to FC level.#ranjitrophy2022 💪🏼💪🏼
