The former RCB captain was all set to finish the game before Rashid Khan outfoxed him in the 17th over. Kohli played a match-winning knock of 73 runs from just 54 deliveries, with the help of 8 fours and a couple of sixes.

Earlier, GT captain Hardik Pandya led from the front, smashing his fourth half-century of the tournament. Hardik played an unbeaten 62 off 47 deliveries with the help of seven boundaries, including three sixes.

Apart from Hardik, David Miller (34 off 25) and Rashid (19 not out) chipped in with valuable contributions to help Gujarat post 168/5 in their allotted 20 overs.
