T20 star Dwayne Bravo etched his name in history books as he became the first-ever bowler to claim 600 wickets in the shortest format. The right-armer accomplished the special landmark during his side Northern Superchargers’ match against the Oval Invincibles in the ongoing The Hundred competition on Thursday.

It all happened on the 89th ball of the Invincibles innings when Bravo bowled a spectacular off-cutter to clean up the English all-rounder Sam Curran, who was trying to go big by giving himself some room.

Soon after registering the incredible feat, Bravo celebrated in a unique fashion. He put on the dancing shoes and celebrated Curran’s dismissal. His overall figures were 2 for 29 in the 20 balls bowled.

Here is the video:

Bravo bowled eight dot balls and had an economy rate of 1.45 per ball. He achieved the 600-wicket feat in the 516th innings of his T20 career.

Talking about the match, the Superchargers posted 157/7 on the board after batting first in the 100-ball-a-side game. Adam Lyth top-scored with a 79-run knock off 33 balls. However, Bravo had a poor outing with the bat, getting dismissed for a golden duck.

For the Invincibles, mystery spinner Sunil Narine shined with the ball claiming three wickets for 11 runs in the 20 balls bowled. Batting second, the Invincibles successfully chased down the target in 97 balls with three wickets in hand. Curran scored 60 runs off 39 balls while Jordan Cox chipped in with his valuable 48-run knock.
