Cricket West Indies (CWI) recently revealed the 15-member men’s squad for the upcoming ODI series against England, set to kick off at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on December 03. Dwayne directed his criticism towards selector Desmond Haynes, questioning the criteria for team selection. In an Instagram post, he stated, “This is NOT acceptable, and I just can’t make sense of it! What’s the criteria for West Indies team selection? Surely, it can’t be solely based on performance?”

Dwayne did not mince words when expressing disappointment with former West Indies skipper and current head coach Darren Sammy. He conveyed his expectation of a fair and trustworthy system under Sammy’s leadership, stating, “I hoped for trust in the system with figures like you, Sammy, and the new director of cricket, but the system failed again.”
