KKR face their first defeat of IPL 2024

Speaking about the game, KKR set a target of 137/9 after being put in to bat first. Sunil Narine‘s knock of 27 and Angkrish Raghuvanshi‘s contribution of 24 proved valuable with the bat. Ravindra Jadeja emerged as the standout bowler for CSK, claiming three wickets while conceding just 18 runs in his allotted 4 overs.

In reply, CSK successfully chased down the modest target within 17.4 overs. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad rediscovered his form and played a stellar innings, crafting an unbeaten half-century with 67 runs off 58 deliveries.
