In reply, the USA struggled to chase down the set target and were bowled out for 172 runs in 47.3 overs. Sushant Modani was the top scorer for the team, with 64 runs off 126 deliveries. Nosthush Kenjige contributed 28 runs, but it wasn’t enough to lead the team to victory. Kaleem Sana and Saad Bin Zafar were the most successful bowlers for Canada, picking up three wickets each.

With the win against the USA, Canada currently sits at the top in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off 2023 points table with two wins in two games. Meanwhile, the USA is on the second spot in the team rankings with just one win in two matches. Notably, the only win for USA came again Namibia in the opening match of the event.
