Winning the toss and electing to bowl, Pakistan put up an impressive performance in the field, restricting the Proteas for a total of 150/3 in their allotted 20 overs. Tazmin Brits was the top scorer for the visitors, contributing 46 runs off 48 deliveries, including one six.
Laura Wolvaardt played a crucial role, scoring 41 runs off 34 balls, with the help of six boundaries. Marizanne Kapp (26 runs off 24) and Nadine de Klerk (21 runs off 11) also made notable contributions to push South Africa’s total beyond the 150-run mark.

Sidra Ameen was the star of the innings, playing a crucial knock of 61 runs off 44 deliveries, which included 6 fours and a six. Aliya Riaz‘s explosive batting was also instrumental in Pakistan’s victory, as she scored 31 runs off 18 balls, including two fours and two sixes.
South Africa’s bowlers faced a challenging task defending their total. Nonkululeko Mlaba was the most successful among them, taking two wickets for 20 runs in her three overs. Ameen was awarded the Player of the Match for her outstanding batting performance.
