In reply, the Saint Lucia Kings put up a spirited fight but fell short of the target, finishing their innings at 176 for 8 in 20 overs. Chase was the standout performer with the bat as well, smashing a blazing half-century and contributing 53 runs off just 31 balls. Roshon Primus also chipped in with quickfire 37 runs off 20 deliveries for the Saint Lucia-based team, but he failed to get his team across the line. Although Primus’ efforts went his vain, his massive six off Mohammad Amir during his fiery cameo left many stunned.

It all happened on the first ball of the 16th over when Amir delivered a shortish outside-off delivery to Primes, and the right-handed batter hammered it out of the ground over cow corner with full power and lightning bat flow.
